If you want to visit Devil's Tower stay here and enjoy a nice quite park and great company. It is not available at the Fishing Bridge main building. This campground is for dry camping only and currently it is for hard-sided camping only because of grizzly bear activity. We were only going to stay one night before going to Yellowstone but we stayed an extra night to enjoy the town and amenities.

There were a few planes flying over but the didn't bother us. The entire park is dirt, and not very well organized. Really quiet, partially shaded.

The lightning is very scary when there is only open flat fields for miles. Overnight for me would be fine here. We will not return to this park! Stayed for two days on the way home.

Having those familiar surroundings puts you at ease even more while you camp. Very disappointing for my perception of an Air Force Base. What are good family activities in Jackson during the summer? Only issue was the rutted up pad that we set up on, probably due to recent rain.
